From 9 to 12 May, come and feast your eyes during the Hot-air balloon festival "Han-Vol et Vous !" in Han-sur-Lesse

During 4 days, this event organised by Magicairevents, will be held on the Domain of the Caves of Han’s visitor reception plain. Every day (at sunrise and at the end of the day), you can admire 40 hot-air balloons taking off and enjoy a dazzling array of events!

From 9 to 12 May 2024, forty hot-air balloons from Belgium, France, Luxemburg and Switzerland will meet up in the charming village of Han-sur-Lesse. Spectators will be able to admire the preparations and the take-off of these impressive hot-air balloons every day during the 4-day long Ascension weekend. Admire the ballet of gaily coloured balloons in the Han-sur-Lesse sky, every day at sunrise (7am) and then again later in the day (7pm).

On Saturday 11 May, the Cave of Han will be home to an unusual event: "The Caves’ Trail", with 1.200 runners taking part in a trail that crosses the Cave of Han on a distance of 1.400 meters!

You can access the many events scheduled on the take-off plain free of charge. Among the many events, you can expect:

• The Kid’s Village, on the Domain of the Caves of Han’s huge playground, which will be dotted with 10 different bouncy castles;
• The arts and crafts market Artis’Han with more than 80 exhibitors;
• On Thursday 09/05, a Green-Volley tournament;
• On Friday 10/05, the Moonlight Show, a sound and light show with the nightime inflation of 7 hot-air ballons, enlivened by the spellbinding choreography of fire jugglers;
• On Sunday 12 May: Nostalgia Day with dozens of prestigious and vintage cars.
